Renewable Energy

How will renewable energy demand jobs will be in the near future?

I am very worried about the economy and seeking a qualification quickly so that I can have some sort of qualification in case it goes completely under. I found a 14 hours credit renewable energy certification of a community college. Do you think it will be good to find jobs?

In general is the perfect time to enter the field because it is still relatively young and growing fast, then there is a total lack of experienced workers actually the field. But if you can easily find a job depends on what you want to do in the area and what your background is. For positions that require no technical knowledge in the field (ie, public affairs, legal, accounting, finance, construction), then those jobs should be fairly easy to find, even without formal training or a certificate in renewable energy. There are certain positions such as engineers, scientists, environmentalists, or developers, where you can probably find a position without any previous experience, but the certificate that you mention would certainly help you to point out as someone who is really motivated and eager to be on the ground. Then there are the more technical positions, such as operators facilities or consultants, where a formal degree may be more useful in a landing position. In short, the course you mention is a excellent idea to begin with, but you also do some research on the exact position you want to see how employers background than you have in the field. For some positions, a short may be sufficient, in others, it can not be. But if you are motivated and persistent, do everything you can to learn more about the field and talk to people in the field, and finally, you should be able to get a job.
